6 Things You Must Do Before Your SALAH (Namaz / Prayer) | Azka & Ayesha

🇵🇰 🇬🇧 Precondition of Salah / Prayer / Namaz, Shurut-as-Salah (الشروط الصلاۃ), Ablution, Cleanliness, Covered the full body, Face Qibla, Intention (Niyaah) | Azyeshaofficial

Following are Shurut-as-Salah (الشروط الصلاۃ / Preconditions of Salah / Prayer):

  1. Wudhu (Ablution) or Ghusl (Bath).
  2. Clothes and Praying Area Should be Clean.
  3. You have to be Covered Islamically.
  4. Pray on the Right Time.
  5. Face The Qibla.
  6. Intention (Niyyah).

Conditions that have to be met before you start your Salah and if you’ve not met these conditions then your Salah (Namaz / Prayer) won’t be valid your so you need to try and make sure you have to get fulfil these conditions so here are the preconditions of the Salah.

Wudhu (Ablution) or Ghusl (Bath):

Salah, Wadhu, Ablution

First of all, it is to be pure from any type of major and minor impurity by that just mean that if you need to have your Fard (فرض / Farz / Obligation) whilst you have performed that if you need to and you obviously have to do with who takes away all your minor impurities and Ghusl (غسل / Bath) takes away all your major and minor impurities so you need to get that off the list that’s the first thing۔

Clothes and Praying Area Should be Clean:

Muslim Girl Praying, Praying Mate, Clean Place, Modest Clothes, Hijab, Abaya

You need to make sure that the area where you’re praying your Salah is clean the clothes that you’re wearing are clean

You have to be Covered Islamically:

Muslim Girl Praying, Praying Mate, Clean Place, Modest Clothes, Hijab, Abaya

So number three which is quite obvious but that you have to be covered so we all know the Islamic ruling of being covered you have to be Islamically covered for you to perform your Salah (Namaz / Prayer)

yeah so for a woman you need to make sure that you’re wearing your hijab you’ve covered your body you need to make sure your arms your sleeves are long enough to cover up to your wrist you need to make sure that your ankles are not showing and obviously any other part of your body should not be visible whilst performing your prayer

So with men there’s there seems to be a difference of opinion and but the opinion that we follow according to that they have to pull their trousers up slightly so that their ankles are showing and that is the sunnah way of doing it you have to as long as your aura is covered which means that your private parts are covered you have met the condition and going further than that is basically whether you’re following the sunnah or not but obviously there’s a protocol you’re presenting yourself in front of Allah (S.W.T) so you need to make sure that you’re following a particular protocol because you’re doing something so special so even brothers should try and make sure that they have their hat / cap (topi) or their head they need to make sure that their arms are covered and they shouldn’t be wearing shirts so when they go down in Ruku their back should not uncover whilst you bend down so you know all of these minor things will make your whole experience of praying much better if you follow these, we become so insensitive to this matter because we do it naturally we don’t really consciously get ready for our prayer but if you really think about it you’re going to stand in front of your lord so you have to kind of do that pre-preparation just like you would if you were to meet somebody like special.

Pray on the Right Time:

Salah Prayer Time

You need to make sure that you are praying at the right time so for example if it’s Zohr prayer time you need to make sure you’re performing your Zohr prayer and not your other prayer, so you cannot perform your prayers at the wrong time they have to be performed at the right time, some people might get confused here thinking that oh what if you miss your Salah it’s doesn’t apply to the people who miss their prayer if you miss your Fajr you can perform it before you Zohar however, this is only saying that you know you can’t pray your Isha at the time of Fajr, you can’t switch the timings by yourself.

Face The Qibla:

Salah Prayer Time, Qibla

The next condition is to face the Qibla we all know what our Qibla is you have to face the Qibla and we all know now that with technology we can all figure out where Qibla is no matter where you are so you have to face the Qibla.

Intention (Niyyah):

Intention (Niyyah),
Prerequisites and perfomance salah

you need to make sure you make the intention for the prayer that you’re about to perform now these are the six preconditions which are also known as Shurut-as-Salah (الشروط الصلاۃ) which have to be performed before you even start your salah if you miss any of these because they these preconditions count as Fard actions or Duas or things you need to do before starting your Salah so if you miss them or if you make a mistake in them then your salah will not be valid you will have to repeat your salah so for example if you did not face the qibla and you knew where the qibla was that means that you missed something which is Fard and you will have to Re-perform your Salah. Similarly, if you didn’t do your wudhu properly and you didn’t get rid of the minor impurities properly that will also require you to do your salah again because you were not pure which you have not matched one of the criteria for before starting your salah and it is Fardh (Farz) criteria so you have to match it.
